I do things with sound, words, food and fire…
Simply put: I am a performer. My work roams between creative disciplines, but everything I do is rooted in performance and a passion for creating and sharing experiences.
Some people unwind by cooking luxurious meals for their friends or family. Some relax by picking up a guitar at home of an evening. Some people keep private diaries or share their musings online for fun. Some entertain themselves around the house with noises, accents and silly voices.
I am all of those people in one.
What started as separate pastimes, driven by passion and curiosity, has – after years of work, practice and refinement – converged to form my professional identity: my natural instincts wrought into vocational disciplines. I suspect I would have been perfectly content to pursue any one of them only in my spare time. As it happens, I am most fundamentally fulfilled by the fact that they are my work.
Whether it’s grilling wagyu steak for a crowd in Dubai with Marco Pierre White, composing for Universal Music, writing features for The Field magazine, arranging strings recorded by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, voicing characters for emerging filmmakers working at the cutting edge of the industry or performing my own music live on stages across Europe, no two days are the same.
I wouldn’t say I’m a jack of all trades, but I am a master of some.
